Dr. Tim Schwarz - Medical Director TPS Berlin
Background

From Ulm to Berlin

Tim Schwarz grew up in Ulm, in a family where medicine was both profession and everyday life. His father runs a psychiatric practice there, and his grandfather led the Dr. Schwarz psychiatric specialist clinic - which is today managed by his uncle.

In 2022, a Neurolith® by Swiss company Storz Medical was acquired at his father's practice Tim Schwarz learned the procedure from the ground up: the technology, the navigation, working with patients who had often already been through a great deal. Among the first patients was his grandmother.

TPS opens up possibilities in the treatment of neurodegenerative conditions that we did not have with previous procedures - and opens up perspectives for those affected that were not there before.

- Dr. Tim Schwarz

With the experience gained in Ulm, he decided to bring TPS to Berlin.

Trained at, among others:

Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg
TUM Klinikum
Vivantes Berlin
Working Approach

Every Patient.

Dr. Schwarz deliberately works without overcrowded waiting rooms and without time pressure. Those who come to his practice get a real conversation - before the treatment, during the cycle and afterwards.

This also means: not every inquiry ends in therapy. If TPS is not the right option in the medical assessment, he says so clearly - and tries together with those affected to find an alternative.

  • Every patient gets the time they need
  • Clear, honest communication - even when the answer is complex
  • Individual therapy goals instead of standard protocol
  • Availability and personal accompaniment throughout the entire treatment course
